A personal project for Baer Design. Along with his partner Georgia Eccles he redesigned their 2 bedroom home with a separate cottage.  A successful renovation where small unused areas of the garden were used to give space and greater functionality in the home.  A hall way, scullery and bigger kitchen was added a new open plan office area created while incorporating the cottage into the hose to become the third bedroom.  The smaller bedroom made bigger whilst adding it own bathroom.

With many years of experience in kitchen design, we are able to quickly understand your needs and requirements to design any combinations of storage solutions for optimum flow and efficency.This design is for a family of four in Franschhoek.  A combination of Oak and Carrera marble tops, with dovetail join box draws and sprayed soft closed draws.  It has an appliance cupboard with two box draws, allowing for neat and tidy storage along with spice and a pantry pull out cuppboard.This was designed for a young couple in a studio apartment in the middle of Cape Town. Hidden door pulls, oak veneer fronts, sliding glass for the shelves and flamed black granite worktops. Useful and beautiful pieces of furniture for any room in the home.  Our dividers are a brilliant way to  organise the flow of your home or any space.

Made from Ash, with cracks, knots and butterfly joins.  The server comprises of six draws made with dovetail joins all with soft closing.  The server can be made in most woods in any combination of draws or cupboards and the high light and backboard can be in any colour.This piece of fitted furniture is used to divide the entrance hall from the living room with storage on one side and shelving on the other.  We then added paneling for decoration. This can be made with shelves and cupboards in any combination.  We used oak for the seat along with hand turned oak pegs on the entrance side. The panels can be painted in any colour.This fitted wardrobe is a perfect example of baer design's philosophy of simple design, elegant and practical.  Easily translated in to whole dressing rooms, for his or hers to cater for all needs.A simple range of metal frame with birch ply shelves.  This can be designed to form any combination of shelves and could even include a desk.  The metal can be left raw and or be painted any colour.

From dinning room to side tables...  We have three ranges, The Øverest, The Mitten and The Bund.

Here we have used walnut with inlay joins with steel powder coated legs but we can also do with walnut or contrasting wood legs.

The new Peacock Blue mens wear shop in Newlands. We had to design every item to fit the space. It was important to continue and update the companies look and feel.

Baer Design was asked to completely redesign this studio apartment in Cape Town.  It has to include cleaver storage solutions for a small space.  It included an office with shelves to separate that space with the bedroom, and a fitted furniture unit that housed the wardrobe, entertainment cupboard and also a pantry.
